Apoyo Pond

Yep! That guy on the photo is... ME. What it may not become clear from the picture is the fact that the pond is several hundred feet below this point. The foreground hill border is not a cliff but rather a step slope similar to the one on the background. This pond, like most of Nicaraguan pond was a volcano crater, hence its near circle shape.
